Pre-orders for the new Apple Watch Series 7 have started and should originally be shipped to customers on October 15th. However, if you still have to pull the trigger, you might have to wait quite a long time.
This is because, according to a report from Bloomberg, delivery times for many of the Apple Watch Series 7 models have apparently been slipping, with customers apparently having to wait between 2-3 weeks for some models while other models are now, we see an estimated waiting time of 5 weeks (if not longer).
This means that some customers may have to wait until mid-November or possibly the end of November rather than getting their hands on it as early as next week. That being said, there’s a good chance this isn’t necessarily because the new models are very popular and therefore sold out.
If you recall, there have been rumors of a possible production issue that was only recently resolved resulting in Apple running out of stock to keep enough supplies for its October 15th release. We expect these delays to subside in the coming months, but for those who haven’t pre-ordered when the pre-orders went live, there’s a good chance you won’t get it next week.
