Sometimes it makes sense for gaming companies to team up and work with game developers on specific versions of gaming hardware. For example, an esports team that works with a game accessories brand to create peripherals with their branding, or developers that work with console manufacturers to release a special version of a console for an upcoming game.

However, sometimes it’s just a little weird and a little unnecessary, like in the case of Microsoft, which recently teamed up with high-end fashion brand Gucci for the Gucci Xbox Series X console. It’s essentially the same console, but the outer shell is now adorned with Gucci’s signature double-G patterns, as well as two Gucci-colored Xbox controllers.

It also comes with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and a Gucci and Xbox themed case to carry your console around. Only 100 units of these are made, and unsurprisingly, at $ 10,000 each, they don’t come cheap. While a little ostentatious, let’s imagine some think it’s worth collecting for just being.

It will be available on the Gucci website and select Gucci stores from November 17th.
