  • A number of renders of what the OnePlus 10 Pro could be have just leaked out.
  • The renders show a unique camera module that you will likely either love or hate.
  • The renderings are based on photos of an early prototype, however, so don’t take these as set in stone just yet.

We expect the next flagships from OnePlus in early 2022. These phones will undoubtedly be among the hottest releases of the year.

Now let’s take a first look at what the OnePlus 10 Pro could be (assuming OnePlus sticks to its usual naming scheme). The renders show a phone with a very unique rear view camera module. To be honest, we’ve never seen anything like it.

These pictures come from the reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (via Zouton). In contrast to most editions of Hemmerstoffer, however, these are renderings not based on CAD files of the product going into production. Instead, they are renders based on some leaked photos of a real world prototype that is supposedly the OnePlus 10 Pro.

In other words, these renderings may not fully reflect the final product. In fact, the future retail device might not look like this. Therefore, view the renderings with great skepticism.

The most noticeable thing about these OnePlus 10 Pro renders is the rear view camera module. It seems to take inspiration from the Galaxy S21 series by sinking the module into the case to avoid a large bump. However, it does not reach all the way to the top, so that a large part of the upper body remains untouched by the module.

It is also noteworthy that the module only shows three camera lenses. Could this mean that OnePlus is ditching the OnePlus 9 Pro’s monochrome sensor and only using a standard wide / ultra-wide / telephoto setup?

Once again, these renders are pretty shaky so we won’t be drawing any conclusions just yet. Still, the OnePlus 10 Pro could look very good.
