Spotify finally released its own app for the Apple Watch back in November 2020. That meant those who had the LTE model could stream Spotify on the go, even if they didn’t have their iPhone with them. Spotify later announced support for offline playback, but it seems that it wasn’t yet available to users.
However, a report from Gadgets and Wearables found that Spotify has apparently started making the feature available to users. The report suggests that the rollout will be phased. So if you don’t see the feature available to you just yet, don’t worry as it should eventually get to your device.
You may also need to make sure that you have the latest version of Spotify installed. So go to the App Store to get the latest update. However, it should be noted that there are some caveats about offline playback and downloads. For starters, users can only download a maximum of 50 songs per playlist.
Of course, users also need to subscribe to Spotify Premium to access this feature. So if you don’t have a subscription, you won’t be able to use this new feature.
