If you’re looking for a pair of true wireless active noise canceling earbuds, then Sennheiser might have something for you, as the company has since introduced the CX Plus True Wireless. These are part of the company’s CX range and also a cheaper alternative to the Momentum True Wireless 2.
To give you some context, the Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds launched in 2020 and priced at $ 300. The CX Plus True Wireless, on the other hand, costs $ 180, making it considerably cheaper if you don’t really need all of the bells and whistles that its more expensive brother has to offer.
In terms of specs and features, the CX Plus has active noise cancellation technology, an upgrade over some of its earlier models where it only had passive cancellation. There’s also an ambient sound mode and the use of Sennheiser’s TrueResponse converter, which apparently brings “audiophile technology” into “everyday” earbuds, as the company claims.
The CX Plus also offers 8 hours of battery life on a full charge, and the carry case also offers two additional charges for a total of 24 hours. Sennheiser will be selling the CX Plus from September 28th, where it will be available in black or white.
