- Rumor originated from Korea that Samsung is done with the Samsung Galaxy Note series.
- Rumor has it that the company will stop manufacturing the Note 20 series before the end of 2021.
- There are also rumors that the company has no new Note plans at all.
Now a new report from ET News (h / t 9to5Google) from Korea suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note range could really be finished. According to the report, Samsung could stop production of the current Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series by the end of 2021. This is pretty interesting as the company reportedly produced 3.2 million units of the series and the phone is still being sold. It just might not sell enough to warrant new production.
Since Sammy has already ceased production of the Note 10 line, this would mean that from 2022 onwards, Note phones that have already been released could not be produced.
The report also supports the idea that there may not be a new Note phone at all in 2022. Allegedly, Samsung doesn’t have any Note phones on its 2022 schedule.
If there were doubts about the end of the Samsung Galaxy Note range, this article seems to thwart them.
Of course there is also the Galaxy S22 Ultra. According to leaks and rumors, it will essentially be a Galaxy Note phone with an S Pen slot. It just doesn’t have the note name.
Pour one out for the Samsung Galaxy Note line. It was a good run.
