This comes as a surprise to many fans as some were expecting a reveal for the new Saints Row game that has been in development for a while. That said, Dead Island 2, which has been in the works for more than a decade, is slated to appear at E3 in 2021. It was first unveiled at E3 2014 and has been the developers of Yager Development to Sumo ever since. switched to digital and then to Dambuster Studios.
Recently, Deep Silver announced the revival of TimeSplitters, stating that Free Radical would be reformed to create a new game in the series. As part of the announcement, the publisher stated that the game has not yet started development, so it’s not surprising that it will skip E3 in 2021. That being said, Metro Exodus, the newest entry in the series released in 2019, and although a new game is likely to be developed, it’s too early to show anything at E3.
While these popular franchises aren’t showing up, Koch Media has plenty of traits under its belt, so fans still have plenty of reveals to look forward to this summer.
Koch Media will give its E3 2021 presentation on July 11th at 12 noon PT.
