- There are reports that the OnePlus Nord N10 is getting its Android 11 upgrade.
- According to OnePlus, this will be the first and last upgrade for the phone.
- The phone is incredibly cheap, so it’s hard to complain about the small upgrade schedule, but it’s still a bit of a pain.
For years, OnePlus was the brand we were all looking for to set the bar for Android updates. The company was rapidly offering stable updates and keeping its phones up to date for much longer than most of its competitors.
OnePlus previously confirmed that the phone would only receive an upgrade and then two years of security patches. Considering the phone launched in December with the then-outdated Android 10, this upgrade to Android 11 seems a bit disappointing.
Still, the Nord N10 is an incredibly affordable phone. Here in the US, you can get an unlocked card for just $ 300. You can save even more when you shop through a T-Mobile-affiliated carrier when you factor in subsidies and trade-ins. With that in mind, it’s difficult to complain about a poor upgrade schedule.
Whether you own a OnePlus Nord N10, keep an eye out: Android 11 is on the way.
