If you are looking for long battery life in a pair of wireless earbuds, you might be interested to know that OnePlus is working on a new pair that is said to offer up to 40 hours of battery life. Rumor has it that this will come in the form of the OnePlus Buds Z2, the successor to the original OnePlus Buds Z.
According to GizNext’s renders and specs, the design of the OnePlus Buds Z2 doesn’t seem too different from the OnePlus Buds Z TWS. However, there can be some subtle changes such as: B. the angle of the earbuds for a more comfortable fit, but otherwise the external design won’t be too different.
The earbuds are rumored to have Bluetooth 5.2 support and each earbud comes with its own 40mAh battery. This gives users around 5 hours of battery life with the ANC turned on and up to 7 hours of battery life with the ANC turned off. The charging case comes with an additional battery life of 27 hours, so you can get around 40 hours of total usage out of them.
Other purported features include Google Assistant support along with an IP55 rating making it water and sweat resistant so using it during a workout shouldn’t be a problem. It’s unclear how much they’ll cost, but hopefully OnePlus will be sharing some official details soon.
