We have seen renders of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 in the past showing the new design, but the folks at PhoneArena have since put together a number of new renders that portray them as you might expect if they were on the Apple website and we have to say that these renders give us a better idea of what to expect.
We already know that the upcoming 7 Series will have a brand new design. That design language is carried over from the iPad Pro and iPhone 12, which ditched the curved edges in favor of a flatter and sharper model, and these renders show just that. Based on the previous renders, we were a little concerned that it might look too boxy, but these renders seem to actually make the watch look “better” even though they’re kind of the same thing.
Other than that, these renders don’t really tell us what we don’t already know. The Series 7 comes with various processor upgrades, of course, but it’s also rumored to be bigger as it has 41mm and 45mm display options, versus 40mm and 44mm versus the Previous models.
There were initial reports that it was packing a glucose monitor, but later reports have crushed it quite a bit. Our guess is that the Series 7 will most likely be announced later in September at the iPhone event.
