Microsoft’s search engine Bing does not display any image results for the infamous “Panzermann” photo of a Chinese demonstrator on Friday marking the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. According to a Reuters report, Microsoft has attributed the persistent problem to “accidental human error” by claiming that censorship is possible.

Microsoft is “actively working to solve this problem,” said a spokesman for the publication.

As of 3:30 p.m. PT, Bing continues to not display Tiananmen Square image search results for “Panzermann” – only general photos and images of tanks. In comparison, Google gives results of the famous image.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
