Don’t be too excited, but we might have a guess for that iPhone 13 Release date. After looking through all the clues and rumors, we are expecting Apple’s next iPhone, supposedly called the iPhone 13, coming soon for the tech giant Autumn event next to the Apple Watch 7 and AirPods 3. Note, however, that we haven’t heard any official details from Apple yet.

Similar to the announcement of the iPhone 12 last year, the iPhone 13 Event could only be online. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman speculated in his Power On newsletter in July that Apple’s next event will be entirely virtual as the tech giant allegedly decided to postpone his return to personal work due to rising COVID-19 cases.

Apple originally said that all employees must come to the office from September three days a week. Gurman says a personal iPhone 13 event would have been “plausible” if Apple had stuck to the September timeframe. Now he expects another purely online event.

Apple’s iPhone event 2021 could have a date

Continue reading: According to rumors, the Apple event in September could (again) be virtual

Although the event may all be virtual, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, we’re expecting four versions of the new phone: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Apple’s first event in 2021 happened in April where we saw new iPads, colorful iMacs, a purple iPhone 12 and AirTags tracker. Then came WWDC in June, when we caught our first glimpse iOS 15. And at both events there was not a word from Apple about the iPhone 13.

But no one expected the iPhone 13 to be announced this early. So when can we expect Apple to unveil its next flagship phones? Apple has not yet given any indication of an event date for the iPhone 13. However, based on Apple’s history, we can usually predict when the company’s iPhone events will take place, and based on that, make an educated guess as to a release date.

While pandemic changed the usual course for 2020, marking the first Apple event in September eight years from now without an iPhone because Production delays, Kuo predicts that there will be a return to the company’s typical rhythm in 2021. A Report of March 24th based on information on the supply chain also suggests a release date for the iPhone 13 in late September. And an April report by DigiTimes quoted industry insiders as saying that production for the phones’ new chips is ahead of schedule, which should bring phone release back on a familiar timeline before COVID.

If all of this is true, we can get a first look at the iPhone 13 at an event sometime in September.

In a statement to investors reported by MacRumors, Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives announced that Apple may plan to release the iPhone 13 in the “third week of September”. This would mean a time between Monday September 13th and Friday September 20th.

Apple usually holds its events on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, and the iPhone release dates are usually set around a week and a half after Apple announces new devices. If that’s true and Ives is correct, the iPhone 13 could hit the market on Tuesday September 14th or Wednesday September 15th.

iPhone 13 rumors recap

We may also see the iPhone 13 sooner. A few years ago, CNET took an in-depth look at the timeline of Apple events and came up with a compelling one Labor Day Hypothesis, which you can read here. Based on the 2021 calendar, Labor Day rule would set the September Apple event (and the unveiling of the iPhone 13) to September 8th.

We won’t know if this is true until Apple announces an event and shows off the phones. But if you want to plan ahead and save up for an iPhone 13, we’d bet on the September schedule – for now, at least.
