The next Apple event could be just around the corner. There hasn’t been an official word yet, but we’re speculating about that, and could be headed for the company’s fall event sometime this month. We could see them too and a ninth-generation iPad later this year.
It was previously believed that the event could be partially in person, but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says the next event will likely be entirely virtual due to Apple’s rumored decision to postpone the return to personal work.
Apple has had two events so far in 2021. The first event was in April, where we took a look at something new, , , and more. ( .) Then, two months later, the annual took place , Developer event where we saw a , (also known as MacOS 12), and .

When is the next Apple event? It could be early or mid-September
While there was no official or otherwise word about the exact date and time for Apple’s next event, we speculate that mid-September would be a safe bet.
Apple typically hosts three to four events a year with a spring event, a summer developer conference, and one or two other events in the fall. The autumn events usually take place in September and October. The September event usually features new iPhone and Apple Watch upgrades, while the October event usually features Macs and iPads.
Although Apple announced its newest iPhone every year during a September event,In 2012, Apple saw a change in this pattern in 2020 due to . Looking at the 2021 calendar, Labor Day rule would mark September 8th as the next Apple event, but we won’t know for sure until we get the invitation from Apple. However, we do know the company likes to hold its fall event on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Although the timeline may return to normal, Apple’s next event could be completely virtual again.
