There was a report last week that rumored that Amazon’s next product might hit the market in the form of their own branded televisions. It turns out the rumors were correct, as Amazon has since unveiled a brand new line of Fire TV Omni devices. These are Amazon’s own TVs that come in a variety of sizes.
These include 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch options, all of which have 4K resolution. So it is entirely up to you which size you prefer and which best suits your needs. However, the larger 65-inch and 75-inch models support Dolby Vision, but other than that, all models have more or less the same features as HDMI 2.0 ports, an HDMI eARC 2.1 port, and as expected from Amazon, they will come with it too integrated Alexa delivered.
The TVs will also be powered by Amazon’s Fire TV interface, which is also used in the Fire TV sticks, and will also have a Fire TV Alexa voice remote. It’s an interesting direction for the company, but not a surprising one. Amazon has developed its own brand of products over the years, ranging from phones to tablets, speakers, gadget bags and monitor arms, so TVs don’t really look over the top.
In addition to the Fire TV Omni series, Amazon also introduced the Fire TV 4 series, which are 4K TVs, but they are cheaper. If you’re interested in getting your hands on them, visit Amazon’s website for the details.
